AMPS: The Association of Manufacturers and suppliers of Power Systems and ancillary equipment)

AMPS

www.amps.org.uk

AMPS membership is formed of companies involved in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of diesel and gas powered electrical generators.  These could be for standby power or prime load.  Applications for this equipment are diverse and include industrial, military, commercial, marine, offshore oil & gas, landfill gas, combined heat and power systems.  Many companies involved in the manufacture and supply of ancillary parts and systems are also members.

The stated aims of AMPS are:

  • To promote the global sales and service of diesel and gas engine and gas turbine driven electrical generating systems manufactured by the member companies of AMPS.
  • By representation on National, European and International Standards Committees, EUROPGEN and other bodies, to speak with one voice on all issues of technical standards, legislation and commercial policy which affect the members interests.
  • To help members maintain the highest technical standards, quality and customer support.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
