EARL for EKO Application for EKO Control Panel

The EKO Control Panel is purpose-built by IPU for fuel cleaning systems and integrates IPU’s Kapture Technology. The EARL for EKO Fuel Polisher application allows system setup and configuration.

System Requirements

General

Windows™ PC Running Windows 7 or greater

  • .Net Framework v4.7 or above
  • USB 2.0 Port
  • FTDI Chipset Drivers (Drivers – FTDI (ftdichip.com))
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (any version)

Connection

The EKO panel is connected to a PC via the USB Type-B connector located on the bottom edge of the control panel..

Ensure the FTDI drivers are installed, this will normally be handled by Windows Updates Installer, should this be disabled, fail to locate drivers or no internet connection is available then they can be downloaded direct from the ftdi website. After installing the drivers successfully and the USB connection is made, the EKO panel will show as a COM port within Windows Device Manager, note the COM port name as this will be required on first run of the application.

Revision Updates

Refer to the firmware changelist for specific changes from the previous version.
